Crosspicking doesn’t have to be limited to a handful of tunes. In this workshop, we’ll break down the process of adapting almost any melody into a playable crosspicking arrangement by focusing on melody, string choices, and flow. We’ll build a few examples together from scratch and take a behind-the-scenes look at several of my favorite arrangements from the Crosspicking Everything series of shorts to understand the decisions that make them work. This workshop is about forcing broad crosspicking principles to work over any melody, get ready for some non-traditional examples.
