Billy Strings is the fastest growing flatpicker out there right now. His style is a throwback and you can hear tons of influence from pickers like Doc Watson in his approach to the instrument. Though many of his breaks are blazing fast, many of them are solid and approachable for learning the fundamentals of flatpicking. Even if you can’t get the speed quite as high as Billy can you should get these breaks under your fingers.
We’ll gladly do a personalized transcription of any bluegrass guitar video or audio recording you can find! These custom transcriptions may be offered to download publicly after your order is complete. Our rate is $40/minute of transcription. A 2 minute long guitar break would cost $80, $40 x 2m = $80. That being said, we do create individual estimates for every project. Something a little harder might go up in price, while something a little easier might go way down in price.
